I wrote this poem on November 7, 1998.

"Foolish"

All the lies sound the same,
'I love you'. 'I want you', 'I need you',
What can I say?
You loved an idea on the wall.
You wanted someone so you wouldn't feel lonely.
You needed somebody foolish enough to disillusion.
Well, I am foolish.
I hope you are happy now that you ripped out my heart.
I hope you enjoyed the game.
After all, you won.
Call me weak, but I promised myself never again.
Call me weak, but I am tired and done.
